In all geologic time, the responsibilities are on our generation ... including you ...

Wiki on Lunar and Asteroid Mining

If somebody wants to take responsibility for a wiki on lunar and asteroid mining, and general space resources, industrialization, and colonization, then let us know.

As an alternative, we already have a Publications Database which has a category tree which performs a very similar function as a wiki, except it is based on professional publications. This precursor of the wiki era is still our best resource.

Please do not volunteer but then not follow through. For many years, countless people suggested we create a PERMANENT wiki. I asked volunteers to suggest particular wiki software. A few responded, but in a very limited way. Eventually, I started it myself, installing a wiki, then left the easy and popular fun part to volunteers and visitors. All of the latter were transient, and the wiki eventually filled up with spam, so I took it down.

The advantage of a wiki is that people can add information in a quick, easy, and freeform way. However, somebody must serve as editor and provide guidance.

When somebody steps forward and follows thru, we can have a wiki.
