 Others' webpages have pictures of very large, long term future settlements -- much bigger than the one shown at the beginning of this chapter and the cover of the book, and coming much later. (Unlike PERMANENT, those other webpages usually give little attention to the second generation intermediate step or the industrialization steps required to get us there, focussing mainly on the architectural design of large space colonies.)
